Frequently Asked Questions

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) specializing in the "messy" parts of connection. My practice is a dedicated space for the LGBTQ+ community, transgender and non-binary folks, and those in alternative relationship structures (Kink/CNM). I also have a major soft spot for late-diagnosed neurodivergent adults and fellow therapists who need a place to take off the "healer" hat.

I’m not the "nod and smile" type. I’m active, engaged, and grounded. I use frameworks like Gottman and EFT because they actually give us a roadmap, but I bring my full, quirky neurodivergent self to the room. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a real conversation, not a clinical interview.

I am in-network with BCBS PPO and Aetna PPO. If I am out-of-network for you, I can provide a "superbill" that you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. I always recommend calling your provider first to see what your "out-of-network behavioral health" benefits look like.

The first session is really about getting to know each other and checking “the fit”. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, what you’ve tried before, and what you’re hoping to change. You get to feel out my style, and we’ll decide together if I’m the right person to walk this path with you.

Absolutely. Being neuro-affirming means I don't try to "fix" your ADHD or Autism to make you act more neurotypical. Instead, we work with your brain’s natural wiring to find strategies that actually stick—and we look at how your neurotype affects your identity and your relationships.

Yes, I am a Marriage and Family Therapist through and through! I work with couples and multi-partner structures (CNM/Poly). I work with families of all shapes and sizes. Whether you are dealing with high-conflict cycles or just want to strengthen your attachment, we use evidence-based tools to get you back on the same team.
